About Wen
Thank you and what a pleasure it is, to have you reading about me, taking an interest in who I am, how I grew up, and where I formed my decision to run for Governor.
It is so simple, I have a deep appreciation for Oregon and the potential I see here. So many good people here missing out on homes, savings, jobs, and opportunities. Despite countless struggles of my own to survive here, I could not help but to be drawn in to Oregon's beauty and its escape. Let us start this journey by telling you that I am a very open minded individual and have never been barred by others' opinions or obligations. I am engaged to who I believe to be my one and only. My story is extensive and diverse, detailing the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today, would make this entirely too long, but, my educational and professional path has had a little bit of everything, with mainly Law, Service and Ethics standing out above all. Subjects in school that I excelled in were reading comprehension, writing & creative arts. I understand a great deal, see situations from a third party perspective and like to contribute solutions, more than one or two, when I hear about any problem.
I grew up eating grits, oatmeal, grape nuts or corn flakes, going to church every Sunday, attending CCD, was an altar server for three years (8-11yrs. old) however, unfortunately, I suffered some child abuse and trauma, experiences which resonate with many Oregonians. I view these adversities as moments where my resilience and strength grew in my resolve. I cultivated positive routines and cherished the outings and events I experienced here in Oregon. Rivers, lakes, reservoirs, deschutes woods, sisters mountains, trails, beaches, horny toads and mule deer eased my pain daily and I found myself able to keep going. We have a little something special here, let's make this state affordable again.
My aspirations for Oregon, if given the honor of serving you as your Governor, involve not just obtaining and sharing visions and plans for our state at upcoming events, but, also having comprehensive bipartisan discussions with my legislatures and US Representatives, Districts, even counties, on how to go forward swiftly. I am an unstoppable force, more than capable of doing this job, and, nothing beats down my soul, my strength, my drive - I keep going. Trust in the right person Oregon.
